Gophers 2021 Recruiting Class Breakdown with Mark Rogers TV

During last week’s National Signing Day, the Gophers signed 17 players from their 2021 recruiting class. The group currently ranks No. 28 nationally and is headlined by seven four-star players, according to 24/7 Sports.

Head coach P.J. Fleck frequently discusses the importance of recruiting in Minnesota’s program. Fleck and his staff have slowly improved each class and just put together one of the highest-rated groups in school history.

The staff also left scholarship spots open for possible transfer targets. Fleck indicated they may use the portal to address certain positions of need. Additionally, four-star cornerback Avante Dickerson did not sign his National Letter of Intent last week. Dickerson is delaying his decision, but remains committed to the Gophers at this point. Outside of him, every other player signed on the dotted line last week.

With all of that in mind, what were my overall impressions of the group? I joined Mark Rogers TV to analyze the entire 2021 recruiting class. Which players are flying under the radar? We discussed nearly every signee in this video.
