Gophers Defense and Special Teams Breakdown with Mark Rogers TV

I joined Mark Rogers TV to preview Minnesota’s defense and special teams units.

Defensive coordinator Joe Rossi and his staff must replace key contributors in 2020. With just 33 percent of the team’s total defensive production returning (according to ESPN), there will be new faces at all levels.

On special teams, the Gophers only have a few question marks. Punter Jacob Herbers graduated, but the program went to Australia and found a new specialist. Mark Crawford was one of the top punters on the ProKick Australia scene. Crawford’s 49.86 average distance was the best mark among all punters in Ray Guy’s ProKicker Camp rankings. In this video, I mentioned my findings from a detailed punting studying.
